“Patience is a virtue.”
Patience is surely NOT a virtue when it allows and makes excuses for anything that is clearly and unabashedly EVIL. This includes behaviors, qualities, states of being, and PEOPLE.
Note that WILLFUL IGNORANCE is the co-dependent enabler of all evil in this world.
Patience is ONLY a virtue when it is being practiced in anticipation of something that is itself virtuous. This means something that, at its core, is GOOD.
When Patience is routinely practiced in anticipation of anything that is not GOOD or ethically JUST, it eventually leads to a pattern of cowardly behavior and fosters the inability to stand up for what is RIGHT.
